As you read my book you will see that some very unfortunate things happened to me when I was a child, but you will also see that I never gave up hope that God had a reason for everything even though I couldn’t understand it at the time. I was confused and troubled and frightened about who I was and where my life was going. I prayed. I prayed and prayed and prayed. But my prayers weren’t enough. So I began to write. For some reason I specialized in song lyrics. I started writing religiously when I was about 13/14 years old and then for most of my youth and my adult life I wrote song lyrics almost on a daily basis. Fortunately I have managed to save the majority of my song lyrics and I will share them in chronological order along with the chapters. I never wrote down any of my prayers but I hope that my lyrics provide some insight into the boy I was at the time and what my creative mind was thinking about and what I was really trying to say and where I am coming from....(smiley face)
